Stora Herrö is probably the second most popular island in Espoo (right after Iso Vasikkasaari), and is perfect for relaxing walks. Stora Herrö is known for its natural beauty. The eastern side of the island has lush forests and lovely sandy beaches, which are great for relaxing and catching some sun. Most of the island's shoreline consists of high cliffs and rocky outcrops, but this doesn't make it a gloomy place; on the contrary, the very beautiful rocks are great for sightseeing. There is regular boat traffic to Stora Herrö, so you don't need your own boat. The island has cooking spots and places for small fires, so you can cook your food. The island also has a well and toilet facilities, which makes it great for camping.
